The
Together
Project
A group of Jewish and Muslim NYC teens fighting against division, polarization, and dehumanization by cultivating our own space for dialogue, connection, and empathy.

Our Mission
The Together Project aims to create a space for connection, empathy, and understanding among Jewish and Muslim teens through honest, meaningful, and nuanced dialogue, and to cultivate a sense of unity during a time of division.
What we Do
We host in-person, city-wide conferences for Jewish and Muslim teens to present about and discuss themes relevant to us, ranging from the Israel-Palestine war, to heritage, to religion, to Antisemitism and Islamaphobia, in addition to organizing Jewish-Muslim Student Clubs at schools across NYC.

Our Story
The Together Project was founded during a period when Jewish and Muslim students felt particularly divided, and tension was more common than connection. It was evident at school, out of school, and online. But tension and division are tools of oppression. The Together Project was created to fight against division and hate in the most radical way: talking and connecting with honesty and nuance. We're a team of passionate Jewish and Muslim teens who have began finding our voices, and are passionate about sharing this with our communities, together.
